From a market trader in Lubumbashi to the founder of a diversified conglomerate, this is the story of Pauline Mona and Monaluxe.

Pauline Mona Tshiebe Kayoko, Founder, Owner & General Manager
The Beginning
In 1986, Pauline Mona Tshiebe Kayoko started her entrepreneurial journey at Lusonga market in Lubumbashi (now known as Marché M'zee Laurent Désiré Kabila). With nothing but determination and a small amount of capital, she began trading peanuts and plantains.
Building an Empire
Through decades of hard work and strategic expansion, what began as a small market stall has grown into Monaluxe, a diversified conglomerate with operations spanning fuel distribution, petroleum storage, construction, import/export, cold storage, and hospitality.
A Congolese Vision
Pauline Mona's philosophy has always been clear: Congolese entrepreneurs must actively participate in rebuilding their country. Economic sovereignty requires local ownership, and success should uplift the entire community.
